¼Ò³óÀ» Æó³óÀÇ Áö°æÀ¸·Î ¸ô°í °£´Ù. ÀϽİú ¿ù½Äµµ À̳ð Å¿. ³­´Ù.  The ccoa urinates rain.  It destroys crops. Often there is hail running out of its eyes and ears. Its tail sweeps the clouds, bringing storms, hail, and deadly lightning.  Occasionally, it will cause solar and lunar eclipses. ±â¾î¶ó! the ability to fly.


¼øÀÀÇÏ´Â ÀÚ, ÅõÀïÇÏ´Â ÀÚ

ºÎ³óÀº ³ú¹°À» ÁÖ¾î ³ðÀ» ¸ð½Ã°í, ºó³óÀº ³ð¿¡°Ô ´ëÇ×ÇÏ¿© ÅõÀïÇÑ´Ù.  It will stay away from farmers who give it sufficient offerings. This means that it more often hurts the poor than the rich, as the latter have more to give. There are two kinds of people: those who serve the ccoa and those who fight it. The rich serve the ccoa, as their fields are never harmed by hailstorms. The poor fight it, as their fields are destroyed by the ccoa and their families stricken with disease.

³ú¹° ¹àÈ÷´Â ³ð

¼ú, Çâ, ±ÝÀºº¸¼®, ¸®¸¶ ±â¸§, °î¹° µî À¢¸¸ÇÑ ³ú¹°Àº ´Ù ÁÁ¾ÆÇÑ´Ù. ¹ÙÄ¡Áö ¾ÊÀ¸¸é Áö¶ö. The ccoa can be placated with suitable offerings. These are usually a combination of materials including incense, wine, gold and silver tinsel, llama tallow, and cañihua and huairuro grains, collected and burned on high ground. The ccoa is angered by unsatisfactory offerings.

¿Ö ³ó¹ÎÀ» ±«·ÓÇô?

¸ð½Ã´Â ±Í½ÅÀÇ ¸í·É¿¡ µû¶ó... À̸í¹ÚÀº Áö ¸¾´ë·Î....  It is unclear whether the ccoa acts on its own initiative or if it only follows the orders of its spirit masters, but either way it is treated as a malevolent threat that must be placated.


»ý±è»õ

The ccoa is a catlike spirit. Though much larger than a domestic cat, the ccoa takes the form of a feline. It has grey fur with horizontal black stripes along its body. The eye sockets of its large head are set with phosphorescent eyes. (This creature shoots lightning from its glowing eyes.)

In the Peruvian Andes. Its primary dwelling is the mountain Ausangate, near the village of Kauri in the Cuzco district. from Quechua myth.

It seeks to steal the crops before the harvest.

¸¶¹ý»çµéÀÌ ¼þ¹è

The ccoa is also revered by sorcerers, as it grants them powers by striking them with lightning. Sorcerers in particular must be sure to make offerings to the ccoa in thanks for their gifted abilities. The ccoa may be a modern-day descendant of the ancient Chavín feline cult.

½Ä¹ÎÁö ½Ã´ë ±âµ¶±³ ¼±±³»çµéÀÇ °³±¸¶ó

Àü±¤ÈÆ °°Àº ¼Ò¸® Çϳ×. If unbaptized children are buried, the ccoa will strike their burial place with lightning and take the duendes to Ausangate as servants.
